The 2012 League Rules and Approved USSSA Bat List have now been posted on the Forum. Please review these and ensure that you are familiar with them.

Captains,
Due to various team captains altering information and settings on the
website, all team authorizations have been removed. These changes have
created additional work for the Executive as we have to alter these
changes constantly back to the originals. As well, many of you have
noticed that there is no "THE" in front of your team name. I would like
to assure you that the correct name will be printed on your jerseys,
however, due to numerous teams having a "THE", it becomes too confusing
when updating all information on the website. If you have any questions
or concerns, please feel free to email me at chris_gwyn@rogers.com

REGISTRATION FEES FOR 2012 SEASON :
- RETURNING TEAMS/PLAYERS FEE --> $160.00
- "NEW" TEAMS/PLAYERS FEE --> $180.00
CASH or cheques made payable to ORCRSL(or Oak Ridges Co-ed Recreational Slo-Pitch League) are the only accepted methods of payment.

===>>> *** The "NEW" team/player fee is a new one-time only charge when new teams or new players join the league. The league as in the past provides teams with jerseys(with logos)within the price of registration. After every third season returning teams will receive brand new jerseys from the league. The league allocates so much monies per season from the registration fees to cover off the cost of the team jerseys..... it takes 3 seasons to accumulate monies toward the purchase of new jerseys. Thus when teams do not return to the league the cost of the jerseys are not fully recovered. The "NEW" TEAMS/PLAYERS rate ensures protection from teams that decide not to return to the league.

Your RHSMSL Executive has already commenced preparations for the upcoming 2012 ball season. We pass along the following exciting news !!!
As a result of increasing demand the league will be expanding by eight(8) teams from 16 to 24. Therefore we are of course accepting new team entries for the 2012 season !!! Teams looking to join the league are asked to call the League Director Angelo Mollo @ 416 357 8268 or email him @ mollonator@hotmail.com .The league will now be constructed of three(3) 8-team divisions A,B and C that will cater to three levels of play. The A-division will be home to the strongest teams in the league. B division will house the next set of strongest teams and the remaining teams will be placed in the C division. The Play-Off format for each of the divisions shall be Double Knock-Out Tournament Championship play. The regular season shall consist of 16 games once again.
***Only one rule change will be in effect for the 2012 season. The IPD Rule(Injured Player Declaration) will now be extended into the playoffs.
